Good storytelling strengthens social movements
In my twenties I was a community organizer for a brief time. I ended up leaving the field because I was just not emotionally/spiritually healthy enough to stick with it long-term at that time in my life. So, I spent several years focusing on “inner-work”...trying to understand why I’m here on this planet and what the hell I’m supposed to do with my life. In recent months I have been graced by a reawakening of what feels like a long dormant part of my psyche.
