In a famous chip shop as I waited with my twin sister for a feed, a man entered with his twin boys who must have been all of three years old. Blond, blue-eyed and identical, the boys were the picture of angelic innocence. The waiting area was rather crowded and, fascinated by how much attention they were receiving, the boy brothers began hugging each other, and kissing each other in exaggerated expressions of affection. They seemed to pick out that myself and my sister were also twins, and directed their looks at us.Their father asked them to stop behaving as they were, becoming visibly uncomfortable and embarrassed by their public display of affection for one another.
