Resist gets 2gether
On July 2-3 in London we’re presenting Resist at an event that explores how digital technologies can bring us major new social benefits.

Masterminding the campaign behind our film
We won a place on the Channel 4 British Documentary Film Foundation weekend with Working Films and the Fledgling Fund for their first British based Documentary Films For Change workshop. With the expertise of Working Films Co-founders Robert West and Judith Helfand, the weekend is designed to help us strategise on how good storytelling can ignite change locally, regionally and globally.
Our meeting with John Berger
Over the weekend we met with the incredibly inspiring writer, John Berger. We spent the afternoon talking about how prison walls traditionally were built to keep people in, but now walls are being built around countries and economic zones to keep the poor and the displaced out. All those who are incarcerated by the neoliberal system (which he calls Economic Fascism) are the new prisoners - the workers and the displaced. It is only after we name the system for what it really is, that he believes we can really start seeing the possible alternatives, to start learning from the counter strategies taking place at a local level. You can watch John reading a passage about identity cards in Palestine…
Our meeting with Naomi Klein
We met with the journalist Naomi Klein, author of The Shock Doctrine, to talk about who in the world is not only resisting, but simultaneously also creating new alternative possibilities. You can watch clips of our meeting in the Conversations section of the site.
